Worlds, difficulty, and stage rewards

Updated 2026-09-01

On this page

Bomb Farm has five worlds, five difficulties, and 600 stages. Open the Map to compare stage rewards: choose a world on the left, follow the stage path in the center, and check the difficulty on the right.

Read all three parts of the Map

Bomb Farm's Map screen shows five world entries on the left, a numbered stage path in the middle, and five difficulty options on the right.

The official screenshot uses Portuguese labels. Its difficulty list runs from Easy through Normal, Hard, Very Hard, and Inferno. The highlighted entry on the right is Normal; a selected world and a selected difficulty are separate pieces of information.

Before entering a stage, check the world, difficulty, current marker, and any entry requirement. Keep the full stage label in mind when asking for help: “2-9 on Normal” tells another player much more than “stage 9.”

First-clear rewards and random drops are different

The August 15 playtest update announced first-clear rewards throughout the 600-stage campaign. Regular stages were assigned item chests appropriate to map level, while X-10 stages could offer special rewards such as House Chests or Skill Stones.

It also added a notice listing stage rewards after completing a stage that grants a reward. Look for that message rather than assuming every new inventory item was a random drop.

First-clear rewards were made account-bound in that update. Later, the August 30 release update changed binding for new fusion results. That does not mean an untouched reward is automatically tradable; fusion and Soulbound rules explains the distinction.

Check the stage's own drop list

The August 16 playtest notes added stage rewards and their drop chances to the Map, including the Return Bonus in the displayed chances. Inspect that panel for the stage you actually intend to farm.

Do not carry a drop chance from one world or difficulty into another. When comparing stage rewards, also consider how reliably your team clears each location.

The August 15 notes also describe a bad-luck protection timer shown in the chest tooltip on the bottom bar. A loot drop resets it; after a dry period, breaking the next prop guarantees a drop from the current stage. Read the current tooltip for your timer rather than treating an old guide's duration as fixed.

Guaranteed drops are Soulbound under the August 31 update. Regular random drops remain tradable when they meet the other Market conditions. If you are farming something to sell, inspect how it was awarded and its binding status; a guaranteed drop is not the same as a regular tradable drop. Steam Market access and Soulbound rules covers transfers and fusion results.

Return Bonus and active Boosts now add together: the developer's example is +80% and +100% producing 2.8×, not 3.6×. Read the selected stage's displayed rewards with the current bonuses applied rather than carrying an older multiplication formula into your farming comparison.

If an X-10 entry is stuck

A playtest bug could prevent the key needed for an X-10 stage from arriving after X-9. The August 16 developer fix told affected players to complete X-9 again. If you have that exact symptom, update the client, check the current entry requirement, and retry the preceding stage once. A different lock message may have a different cause.
