Bomb Farm troubleshooting

Start Bomb Farm troubleshooting by checking the Windows requirements, updates, and game files. The steps below cover launch and connection problems; they are general checks, not confirmed fixes for a particular bug.

If the game will not launch

  1. Check that your PC meets the Windows and graphics requirements in the minimum and recommended specifications. Compare the graphics API as well as RAM and free storage; enough disk space alone does not establish compatibility.
  2. Close the game, restart Steam, and let any queued game update finish before trying again.
  3. In Steam, open Bomb Farm's Properties, choose Installed Files, then select Verify integrity of game files. Wait for the check to finish, then launch the game once more.
  4. If the same error remains, record the message and your PC specifications before asking for help. Change one thing at a time so you can tell which check made a difference.

If sign-in or connecting fails

Bomb Farm lists a broadband connection and a BombFarm account as requirements on its official Steam page. First check whether Steam itself can sign in, or whether only the game is failing.

  • Steam cannot sign in: use Steam Support for the account or client problem. Reinstalling the game will not recover a Steam account.
  • Steam works, but Bomb Farm does not connect: check developer announcements and the discussion board below for the same error. Install any pending update before trying again. If there is a service notice, follow it instead of repeatedly reinstalling.

The August 31 update added automatic reconnection for attempts that became stuck during farming. That fix does not establish the cause of every sign-in failure. If an updated client still fails after a restart, stop repeating the same checks and report the error, time, and what you have already tried.

Protect your progress when asking for help

Do not delete save folders, unlink accounts, or install unofficial repair tools as an early troubleshooting step. Describe the problem in the Bomb Farm Steam discussions and include when it began, whether it followed an update, and the exact error. Do not post passwords or account recovery codes.
