Bomb Farm Steam Market access and Soulbound rules

To sell on the Bomb Farm Steam Market, complete stage 5-10 on Easy or have an active VIP Pass. This requirement applies to selling: you can bring a Steam purchase into the game before clearing that stage. The developer clarified the distinction in the August 31 update.
Access is only one check. The exact object must also meet its category, rarity, and binding requirements. There is no single rarity rule to apply to every kind of object: for example, the official manual allows Uncommon and higher Skill Stones, but excludes Common stones. For equipment and heroes, inspect the selected object's transfer eligibility rather than treating that stone rule as universal.
Which Soulbound rules apply?
| What you have | Binding rule |
|---|---|
| An item created through Ritual fusion | Created unbound; other rarity and Market requirements still apply. |
| A hero created through Ritual fusion | Created unbound; other rarity and Market requirements still apply. |
| A hero revealed from a Soulbound Cage | Remains Soulbound. |
| An existing hero improved with the Star Ritual | The fusion change does not apply; this is still the same hero. |
| A first-clear reward | Account-bound when awarded. A later fusion creates a separate result under the rules above. |
| A drop granted by bad-luck protection | Soulbound since the August 31 update. |
| A regular random drop | Remains tradable under the other category, rarity, and account conditions. |
Fusion results no longer inherit Soulbound status from the five materials. This means rewards can contribute to a new unbound result, but it does not remove the separate conditions for sending that result to Steam.
A Soulbound hero remains bound after the Star Ritual. Check the exact item or hero's card and the transfer requirements before committing materials.
Find the right Market button
The game labels its links Bring, Market, and Steam Inventory. Use Market to browse listings, Steam Inventory to inspect goods held by Steam, and Bring to move eligible goods into the game.
To bring in something you bought:
- Confirm that the purchase has reached your Steam Inventory on the account linked to the game.
- Open Bring in Bomb Farm's Market and find the purchased object in Bring from Steam.
- Bring the selected object into the game, then check the in-game inventory or hero roster. Completed transfers refresh automatically.
The panel has a bulk claim option: the August 29 notes called it Claim All, and the August 31 notes describe Bring All. The newer rule excludes objects you sent to Steam for sale; those are identified separately and can still be brought back one at a time. A bulk claim leaving one of your exports behind is therefore not, by itself, a failed transfer.
To send something for sale:
- Check the selling unlock and the exact item's or hero's eligibility in the game. Keep anything your active team still needs.
- Select the object for export and read the confirmation. The official manual warns that exporting equipment resets its Forge level to +0; do not count on selling the Forge investment with the piece.
- After confirming, inspect the object in Steam Inventory. Sending it to Steam is a transfer, not a completed sale.
- When Steam marks the object as marketable, use its sale action to create a Steam Market listing. Review the price and fees, and complete Steam's confirmation. Any account restriction or availability date shown by Steam still applies.
The official manual lists an 8-hour recharge for a sending slot. That is the delay before reusing that slot, not an eight-hour delivery estimate. Items and heroes use separate slot pools; the manual currently lists one of each for a regular account and four of each with the Pass. Check the slot timer before sending your next object.
If a link or purchase does not open
Market and inventory links now open through the Steam application even when Steam Overlay is disabled. A Crystal purchase is a separate case: the client now explains when that purchase requires Steam Overlay to be enabled.
If you are on an older client, update before diagnosing an overlay problem from an old tutorial. Check the message for the action you are actually taking instead of toggling unrelated settings.
Check before sending something you use
- Confirm that selling is unlocked for your account.
- Inspect rarity and Soulbound status on the exact item or hero.
- Read the transfer confirmation in full.
- Check the equipment's Forge level before an export resets it.
- Make sure your working squad will still have the heroes and equipment it needs.
- Review the Steam listing's terms and final amount before confirming a sale.
Browse the Bomb Farm Steam Market, but do not treat a current asking price as a guaranteed sale.
