Keep your Bomb Farm teams working

In Bomb Farm, team rotation depends on hero energy and whether your heroes are enabled to fight. If the mine goes quiet, check Battle is ON, then open House to review recovery before choosing a replacement team.

Read House before swapping

House groups upgrades by rarity and shows recovery speed and maximum hero slots below the capsules. Check these values before rotating your team.

Three heroes rest in glowing House capsules beside the recovery speed and maximum hero slots indicators.

Check hero energy before sending anyone back to Battle, and make sure House has room for the heroes leaving the field.

The August 15 playtest update made disabled heroes leave the field immediately and continue recovering. A disabled hero does not automatically return when its energy is full. If a recovered hero remains absent, check whether it is enabled to fight.

Give each preset a job

One way to organize the three team presets is a progression team, a replacement team, and a team for trying different abilities.

  • Keep the group you use for harder stages easy to recognize.
  • Give replacements usable equipment before you need them.
  • Change one hero at a time when comparing how a team clears a familiar stage.
  • After a swap, watch long enough to confirm that Battle is running and the new group is doing what you intended.

Compare teams on the same stage and difficulty. Changing the world at the same time makes it much harder to tell whether the new lineup helped.

Baton Pass is not ready on every swap

Since the August 29 update, Baton Pass has a 10-minute cooldown per hero. Plan each swap around that hero's cooldown rather than expecting a fresh activation every time it returns.

That timer belongs to Baton Pass. It does not set hero energy recovery time in House or require every hero to remain in Battle for ten minutes.

Use the Field Auras panel to inspect active team effects and their remaining duration. It was originally a VIP feature, but the August 24 playtest update opened it to all players and added Return Bonus, Gold, XP, and Drop Boost information.

Skip restores the hero's energy immediately, but it only returns the hero to the field if the hero is set to fight. The developer clarified that behavior in the August 17 playtest notes; a full energy bar and an enabled fighter are separate checks.

For a new roster, hero roles and Birth Rank will help you compare the heroes you are rotating.
