Spend permanent upgrades around what is slowing your squad down.

The skill tree and a hero's abilities use different upgrade decisions. Match the action to what you want to change:

  • Improve the team: choose a tree bonus for the obstacle you are facing. Include the prerequisite path in your cost comparison, not only the final node. Compare your next branch.
  • Change one hero's abilities: inspect the hero before spending a Skill Stone; it is not a tree point. Check what a reroll changes.

If a planned node is locked or an old screenshot names a different reward, check its current cost, prerequisites, and difficulty requirement in the official skill tree and your game. Then compare one upgrade at a time on a familiar stage.
